Grandma's Famous Banana Bread
This is hands down my FAVORITE recipe I have. It's been in the family for years. Since Grandma has gotten older, she can no longer make this bread. I memorized the recipe and for some reason, mine turns out better than when anyone else makes it. Grandma blessed me with her gift I guess. The secrets out. Once you make this, you will be addicted. Guaranteed.
You will need:
2 ripened (Like, almost black) Bananas, smashed with potato masher or fork
1 Stick Margarine (I like the imperial kind, it's cheap)
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 eggs
1 and 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
Nuts (Optional. I've used walnuts before-pretty tasty! But Grandma never used nuts)

1. Smash your bananas a lot into a small cereal bowl and set aside. You want them very mushy & no chunks.
3. Stir in eggs until combined
4. Stir in mashed up bananas
5. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir. Batter will be thick but pourable.
6. Grease a loaf pan liberally with pam or something..if you don't have the spray, take a stick of butter from the package and coat the pan liberally :)
Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until brown & a knife comes out clean when you poke it. I baked this one at 6:30 & it was perfect by 7:10.
Enjoy!!!!
